On November 23rd, 2005, I gave a talk at the Sydney Linux User Group meeting titled Career Development for Geeks.
In December 2006 I gave a similar talk at OSDC in Melbourne. The paper for that talk is available here.
In 2005 I set up a mailing list to discuss the issues I raised. The list is only allows posting by subscribers and may at some time in the future be archived here as well. When the archive does go up, all email addresses will be obscured to prevent address harvesting by spammers.
